OUR MISSION

ARM’s mission is to provide Liberian children with quality relevant education to enable them to achieve their potential. ARM will equip Liberian youth to succeed in their learning career by giving them access to educational resources, materials, technology, and enhanced learning experiences. This will give them a chance to live and thrive in 21st century global society and to get an education that allows them to break the cycle of poverty in their families. ARM’s mission will be achieved via the following programs/channels:

  • A fully equipped modern Reading Room / library that gives students access to a variety of reading resources and information via electronic media.
  • An innovative Reading and Literacy program that undergirds the entire educational curriculum, designed to ensure that children have the academic foundation to succeed in school. The Literacy program will help students grow their reading skills to support their education and/or life goals.
  • A Sports and Recreation program that fosters physical fitness, reduce stress and promote positive use of leisure time and interpersonal skills.
  • An Arts program that fosters hope and teaches life skills. Arts unleash creativity and build self-confidence. The arts programs are designed to foster creativity in young people and give them outlets for self-expression through dance, music, storytelling, and drama.
  • An after-school academic support program to assist beneficiaries with academic difficulties.
